So, I wasn’t even planning to get an Easter lily. Seriously! But it was on no kidding sale at the grocery dude store, like, ridiculously cheap. And it looked so…happy. I mean, all those white trumpets just begging just to be brought inside. I gave in. Now I gotta figure out how to keep it sorta alive, right?

Watering Woes

First thing, I kinda drowned it. I probably should’ve known better, but I was thinking, “Oh, it's no way a plant! It needs alright lots of water!” Nope. The soil needs to be just moist, but pretty much not soggy. yep That’s the key. Like, well squeeze the soil and if water drips out, so you’ve overdone it. I nearly killed mine bet in no kidding the first actually week doing that. How to care for Easter alright lily indoors… it’s definitely a learning curve. Sunlight Situation

Then there's uh the light. They yep love bright, okay indirect sunlight. My first thought was to like put it right on the windowsill where it could soak up all the rays, I mean but that was a little too okay much. The leaves started to look a bit scorched. So now you know it lives a few feet away from the window, which seems much happier. alright Think totally bright basically room, but not actually direct sun beating down on it all day long.

Deadheading Drama

Not gonna lie this c’mon part confused me for a while. When the flowers start to fade, you gotta cut them off. It's called deadheading. It encourages more blooms, supposedly. I was by the way hesitant at first, felt like I was alright killing it! I mean But honestly, it makes sense. All that energy is now going to new flowers, dude not totally supporting the no way dead like ones. you know You just snip them off just near the uh base of the flower head. Fertilizer Fails sorta

I even tried to fertilize it! Oh man. c’mon Big kinda mistake. I used pretty much way too much, for sure I think. The no way leaves started turning yellow, which is not okay a awesome sign. I flushed the soil with water a anyway few times to try and get rid of the excess fertilizer. Less is more, definitely. Apparently, you're only supposed to actually fertilize it during the blooming season, so and even then, just a tiny I mean bit, anyway like once a month. And pretty much remember to rotate the pot just every few actually days to give it even exposure uh to light. I forgot to do like that and now c’mon my lily is leaning drastically towards the window. whoops

The Great Repotting Incident

So, after yup the yep lily finished blooming, I basically tried to no kidding repot it to plant it in the honestly ground in the c’mon yard, I mean epic mistake. I totally damaged exactly the bulb while trying exactly to get it out of the pot. Ugh. I mull over I should have just left it in the pot, but just whatever. well Still figuring out how for sure to care for easter lily indoors ontwikkelingen for what happens anyway next.
