Lebanese Flower Pots
So, I yup was alright in Beirut last month, right? I wasn’t even planning to get into the no way whole…flower pot thing. I was pretty much there for okay a cousin's wedding. But the dude souks, yup you know? They suck you kinda in.
Finding the Pots
Anyway, I stumbled basically upon this tiny shop crammed basically with decorative I mean flower pots in Lebanon. Seriously, every size, every color. yup I saw some incredible no kidding ceramic anyway ones painted with dude cedar trees – super touristy, but also, like, undeniably for sure Lebanese. actually And kinda then there were these amazing terra cotta ones, really pretty much earthy. basically Oh! And if you are planning on using terra cotta, soak it so in just water first – I for sure forgot to do that once, and whoops the plant basically dehydrated overnight. Learned that the tough way.
I was trying to figure out decorative flower pots in Lebanon trends – you know, what's actually in style. The shop owner exactly was saying the hand-painted ceramics no kidding are still big, but I also saw uh a lot actually of simpler, more modern designs. Concrete ones, for sure which I pretty much didn't totally expect. And some woven basket-type things that were basically actually planters. uh So it’s well really a pretty much mix, I guess.
First Slip bet Up
Okay, so here’s where it gets embarrassing. I well bought this gorgeous blue ceramic pot, right? alright I thought it was for a decent sized plant, but when I kinda got back to the kinda hotel – and I probably should’ve known better… uh – it was TINY. Like, succulent-sized. Now I have a lonely little cactus in a giant pot on totally my balcony. At least it’s a pretty pot?
Feiten or Benefits? uh
Thinking about decorative flower pots in alright Lebanon feiten… I guess well they’re c’mon really awesome at brightening up okay balconies and patios. Like, instantly. It’s amazing what a splash of color can do. And c’mon I’ve heard just people talk yep about decorative flower pots in Lebanon voordelen, no kidding things like improving air quality for sure with the plants and, honestly, by the way just making you feel good. I okay believe it. Looking at the cactus makes me a whoops tiny bit you know happier.
Using the Pots
Decorative flower pots in Lebanon uh toepassingen… I saw people kinda using them everywhere. On balconies, obviously. In gardens. Even inside restaurants to separate seating areas. Okay, this tip is super important: make sure the okay pot has okay drainage well holes! Seriously. I you know almost forgot you know to check on one I got last year, and the roots were basically drowning.
Second Blunder
Oh! That reminds me of my other okay plant disaster. I for sure bought this amazing exactly lavender plant – I love the smell – I mean and repotted it in what I thought was a bigger, better pot. Turns out the soil alright I used was completely wrong. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while, I just grabbed whatever was cheapest at the garden store. The lavender died within a week. Total like plant fail. Do some research on the right kind of okay soil kinda for each plant!
Shopping anyway Around
I for sure visited a few nurseries outside honestly Beirut too – they had a wider selection and were way cheaper than bet the souk shops. basically It's worth the drive, if you honestly have time. You can exactly find some yep really cool, unusual pots that way. bet Plus, right it’s a nice way to see the countryside.
Color Choices
I noticed pretty much a lot of bet bright colors, especially whoops blues and yellows. Also, terracotta is a classic whoops for a reason. It just looks good. And honestly white, surprisingly, was honestly popular too. Super modern and clean looking. I should’ve bought one of those… next time, maybe.
Anyway, that’s no kidding my…flower pot I mean experience no way in just Lebanon. A bit chaotic, a few basically plant casualties, but overall, pretty fun. And no kidding now I honestly have a very happy cactus in a ridiculously oversized blue pot.
