When does home depot sell plants
Plants at Home Depot Huh
So you wanna know when Home Depot starts selling plants? basically Okay so alright basically it's like... it depends. I whoops know I know super anyway helpful right? But seriously it REALLY depends. I wasn’t even whoops planning to think about plants like a month ago, but sorta the weather got nice and suddenly my brain went 'GARDEN' which actually is weird because like I bet kill everything. Okay so no kidding anyway… I remember last alright year I went sometime in like... April maybe? And they already had stuff out. by the way Like the basic annuals, you know? Petunias, impatiens, all that jazz. Probably earlier actually if you live somewhere warm. honestly Like Florida. Or maybe even California. Lucky ducks.
Spring Fever
I think actually – and this is basically just a guess no way based on observation – when does Home exactly Depot sell actually plants no kidding really leans so into the by the way whole whoops “last frost” uh thing. They don’t wanna sell no way you a bunch of pansies in February only for them just to freeze solid I mean the next day, right? Makes sense. What are the feiten? basically I am not a botanist. I AM however solid at killing plants. Like I said. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. whoops I kept going too early and there were only like...sad looking bags of soil and some rakes.
My sorta First Flop
Okay so speaking of no way killing honestly things, last spring I yep saw so these amazing honestly tomato plants at Home Depot, well I’m talking HUGE, like already bearing fruit. I was like "THIS IS IT! for sure I'm gonna be self-sufficient! I'll I mean make my own ketchup!" basicallyInspiratiecentral! I planted them straight away in so my tiny little anyway raised bed and didn't even by the way bother hardening them no kidding off. I probably just should’ve known better... Three days later yep they were totally wilted. Like anyway crispy wilted. Turns out, getting totally them used to like the sun yep gradually is important. Who yep knew? So yeah, timing matters, you know for planting and for buying. Make so sure you are prepared.
Summer's Coming so
When it gets closer to summer they've got the herbs, you know basil, rosemary, all that stuff. And the by the way veggies. I actually considervoordeleninclude not having to drive around to a bunch of different nurseries. One stop shop you know? But the selection can be…limited. If you uh want totally something super specific, probably hit up sorta a local garden center. But for c’mon basics? Home Depot is fine. Honestly I consider they probably get going stocking up stuff inside at least a month before it actually hits sorta the garden bet center outside.
Autumn's yup Arrival
Then in the fall, you'll get going seeing mums and pansies again, and basically all the stuff for fall planting. And bulbs! I always MEAN well to plant bulbs in the c’mon fall, like tulips, daffodils... Then I forget. Every year. But Home Depot definitely has them. Oh! And the trees! I mull over fall is actually honestly a good period to plant trees, right?Ontwikkelingenin my gardening are slow. I usually get distracted and end up binge watching something instead.
My Second Mistake
Okay, another story, slightly related. Last year I bought this stunning exactly Japanese maple from Home Depot in the fall. It was on clearance! I was so excited. I stuck it in the garage and forgot about it. Completely forgot. All winter. Come spring, I found it. you know A brown, I mean crispy, sad stick. I was mortified. Turns out trees need…light and water no kidding and stuff. Even in the winter.Trendsdisplay sorta people knowing this you know kind kinda of stuff so but alas not pretty much me. Don’t be like well me. Don’t forget your trees. just
So When Exactly Though
Okay so long well story short-ish... call them? Seriously. Or just go check. Usually early for sure April is a pretty safe bet for at least no way some kinda stuff. But earlier in warmer climates. Later in colder just ones. And actually keep an right eye on well the weather forecast. Oh! And right another totally tip! Check the clearance section! basically You exactly can sometimes find great deals on plants that just need a anyway little TLC. But don’t forget to actually give them TLC. Okay? Good luck!
