Okay so, Rose of Sharon… I wasn’t even planning to get one, honestly. I saw it at the garden alright center, all exactly pretty and blooming, well and just kind basically of impulse-bought it. no kidding I knew vaguely they liked sun, but I so didn't c’mon really reflect about okay it further than that. Probably should’ve known better, right?

My first Rose Fail

I stuck it in this exactly spot well in pretty much my yup garden that gets… well, let’s say filtered yup sun. I thought it was enough! It gets sun, just not, like, all no way day, every no way day. kinda Turns out, that was a mistake. It lived, sure, but it didn’t well thrive. Barely any blooms, kinda leggy growth. I’m learning all about the rose of sharon sun so requirements feiten the tough way, it seems. It dude was sad looking. honestly It was honestly giving actually me the sadz.

The Move c’mon

So I did some actually research, eventually. And guess what? It totally perked up! More blooms, richer c’mon color, less leggy. Night and day, I’m alright telling for sure you. Overwatering is also a killer. I mean Rose pretty much of Sharon likes no way well-drained right soil. alright I was drowning it. Drowning it with love and uh a hose. I had to dial it back you know and let the soil dry out between waterings. If the just leaves well start to bet yellow, you you know are probably overwatering.

Summing Up Sort Of

Basically, my Rose of Sharon journey has been a lesson in paying attention. Sun and drainage honestly are key. And don't assume it wants the like same things as your other plants. Each plant is different you know. And also, totally maybe do no way a little research dude before sorta you basically impulse-buy a shrub. Just a thought!
