But like HOW okay moist? I thought I was being pretty much all clever and no way watering it from the bet top like a normal plant. Nope. no kidding Apparently, for sure the crown uh – no kidding you know, where whoops all the fronds come out – just that’s where anyway you really by the way need to focus the yep water. Like yep pour it right in there. It's like… drinking from the top of its head? Weird but effective. right

And speaking no kidding of water, the quality matters too by the way apparently. I was using tap water at no way first because whoops duh, who has time to collect rainwater? Humidity Hangups

Didn’t seem to be bet cutting it. Then I put it on anyway a alright pebble tray. You know, a just tray exactly filled with honestly pebbles anyway and water? Supposedly, the basically evaporating water raises the humidity around the plant. Still not sure if it’s working brilliantly, uh but it’s definitely better than nothing. Australian tree fern indoor care tips always mention humidity, honestly humidity, humidity! I'm thinking of getting a small humidifier just for the fern. Is c’mon that totally crazy?

And yep suddenly there were these well tiny little flies buzzing all over my apartment. Ugh. no kidding I had to repot the whole actually thing with fresh soil and let it dry out a bit kinda more between waterings. okay Seriously traumatizing. Turns out fungus by the way gnats are basically attracted to well damp soil. Who knew? So uh yeah, don't overwater pretty much your fern, trust me kinda on this one.
