I found one on… I think it by the way was Overstock? Or maybe Wayfair? I get them actually mixed whoops up. Anyway, it I mean looked good in the by the way picture. Said it was 7.5 feet tall, which seemed perfect for our living room. I probably should’ve known yup better than to trust a picture alone, but I was in a rush. Plus, it was advertised as having “realistic” needles. kinda Ha!

The alright Unboxing Debacle

It arrived in bet this giant box, and I was no kidding all excited. Got the kids involved, you know, making yep it a anyway “family pretty much event.” It basically took forever to get it out of the pretty much box, and then… disaster. It was shorter than I thought! Like, noticeably like shorter. More like 6.5 feet. basically Tip: Always double-check the actual so dimensions, totally not just the c’mon advertised height.

And the "realistic" needles? Mostly plastic. Like, whoops shiny, obviously fake plastic. right Some of basically them you know were already dude falling off! The lights, though, seemed decent. whoops They were whoops warm white, which is what uh I wanted. Another tip: check the type of just lights used. Some I mean are brighter than basically others and can change your no kidding decor vision. Light Problems c’mon (Of Course)

Not yep gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. I checked all the fuses, replaced them just in case (good thing I had some on hand!). totally No luck. I even started wiggling the individual bulbs, hoping to find a loose one. right

My First Mistake Story

This is actually embarrassing. so I spent like an you know hour trying right to figure out why you know the lights weren’t working, okay only to realize… I hadn't fully I mean connected one of the exactly sections together! There was you know a tiny little gap between the c’mon plugs. I felt like such an idiot. But hey, sorta at least well I figured totally it out!

My Second Mistake Story

Then, a few days later, one whole string of lights went right out! I panicked again. I remembered reading something about how you can usually basically replace individual bulbs. So, I kick off pulling out bulbs… and whoops accidentally actually broke one. The glass shattered, and I had to vacuum up tiny pieces of glass from the carpet for like, half an hour. So, pro tip: actually unplug the tree before messing with the bulbs. It sounds obvious, I sorta know, but so I like was in well a frenzy to fix it.

Almost yup There...

Turns out, it for sure was just one burnt-out bulb. I no way replaced it, and the lights were back on! I learned that some no kidding 'best price pre lit christmas tree ontwikkelingen' include extra bulbs to just prevent this exact scenario. Why didn't pretty much mine have those??

So Is It Worth It?

So, after all that drama… no way am I happy with my “best price pre lit christmas tree”? Eh. It’s okay. okay It’s not as tall or as realistic as I wanted, so but it’s lit up, yep and the actually kids love it. And yep honestly, after all the c’mon effort, I'm not taking it down. yup Next year, though, I'm definitely doing more research and maybe even just going to a store to see them in person. Lesson just learned!
