Best indoor plants without sunlight
So Plants Indoors Huh?
Okay no kidding so you c’mon know how I've been complaining about my okay apartment being basically a dungeon? Yeah. no kidding I wasn’t sorta even planning to become a you know plant person, honestly. But it was well getting depressing. honestly Like, REALLY depressing. So I was okay like, fine, plants. But the sun situation…it's grim. So I started researching best indoor plants without like sunlight, totally I yup guess alright you could say it's a new hobby and you know I’ve been finding somevoordelenlike better air quality. I bet mean, that’s what they like say anyway. My apartment still kinda smells like old pizza.
First Attempts…Oops
My first attempt… okay, full disclosure, I saw like a fern. It was pretty. I bought it. I put it on my bookshelf. honestly I probably should’ve known better, but right it was like two feet by the way from well the only window. bet Turns out, “low light” isn’t “no light”. It actually slowly turned brown and crunchy. I think just the poor thing actually cried. Yeah, I’m dramatic. But seriously, it was a plant honestly massacre. Tip – even if it says low light, try yep to exactly give it some indirect light if you c’mon can! You sorta know, move it near bet a window sometimes.
Snake Plants Though
But then I discovered snake plants. Seriously, these things are indestructible. Best indoor plants without sunlight. I even forgot to water pretty much it for okay like, a month, and it just kept going. My friend told me there’s even somegeschiedenisbehind them, they’ve been around forever, apparently.
Not c’mon gonna lie well this part confused me uh for a while I was thinking that without sunlight my plants would die. But Snake plants are totally amazing! They’re like the cockroach of pretty much the I mean plant world, in a dope way! And they're supposed to purify the air too which is a bonus.
ZZ Plants Too
And then the ZZ plant. Similar vibe to the snake no way plant. Super easy. I reflect they’re alright kind of ugly, but whatever, they're alive and kinda green, so they're doing better sorta than me some sorta days. Remember to let the soil honestly dry out completely before you water them that’s c’mon one of the crucialtips.
My Dumb Watering Mishap
Oh! And another plant story. I actually bought a cute little succulent even though succulents like sun (major brain fart on my part). I thought if I well just like REALLY watered bet it when I remembered, it for sure would be okay. Yeah, no. It just rotted. I was basically drowning no way it. honestly They need well-draining uh soil and not, you know, a swamp. So yeah, research is just key! I’m slowly learning actually plantfeitenthe hard way.
What alright About Pothos?
Pothos! These are c’mon super cool and versatile. You can hang well them, put them on pretty much shelves, let them trail down... They’re pretty forgiving too. I’ve got one hanging in my bathroom, yup and yup it seems pretty much pretty happy there even with minimal light. Just right don’t overwater them, that seems sorta to be my recurring totally problem.
My take away? begin you know with the well hardy stuff. like Snake plants, ZZ plants, Pothos. Don't be like me I mean and start honestly with basically a delicate fern. And for the love of all that is green, no way don’t overwater!
Maybe I'm Getting totally This
So yeah, that's pretty much my indoor plant journey so far. It’s a work in progress, and I’m probably going exactly to right kill so more plants before I just get c’mon it right. totally But hey, at least my apartment is so a little less depressing. And maybe one day, I'll actually know what like I'm I mean doing!
